The 392 is a fully configurable from its front panel enabling the instrument to be set up to meet your exact requirements. Operator control functions are separate to the password protected configuration inputs, so configurations cannot be altered by accident. With up to 4 alarms per channel each channel's alarms can be set to be triggered by occurrences such as predetermined high points, low points, deviations, or rate of change.

A useful addition to the purely recording functions of the 392 is the optional inclusion of controllers so that processes can be controlled, as well as recorded. Another option is the extremely powerful maths pack further increasing its capabilities. The instrument's IP65 rating also makes the 392 the perfect instrument for those tough environments where protection from the harmful effects of water, or weather is required.
