Labdata was founded in 1978 by Ken & Margaret Hart. Ken had previously worked for Smith's Industries in their Industrial Instrument Division where Smith's manufactured the Servoscribe Chart Recorder under license to Goerz Electro Gmbh in Vienna who called it the Servogor. Smith's decided to cease manufacture of these recorders in 1978 and Ken Started the company to give field support to these instruments.
We also serviced all other types and brands of chart recorders, XY plotters, circular recorders measuring voltage, current, temperature, humidity, events etc.
In 1985 We became agents for Ismatec peristaltic pumps manufactured in Zurich and the Kipp & Zonen range of Chart Recorders made in Delft.
Over the years we have built up our expertise in sourcing consumables for all types of recorder and are still able to find consumables for models that have not been manufacture for over 20 years.
In 1991 We took an agency for dataloggers as the digital revolution started to erode the recorder market we now market the IceSpy ranges of portable dataloggers.
